Sisters In Service was established in 2000 by members of Beta Rho Sigma Denver Alumnae Chapter, of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., as a local non-profit service organization. Our organization, was conceived initially to offer local scholarships. We later adopted a finical literacy program that offered wealth building skills to our youth and young adults. Our focus has been toward the local youth and senior communities. We have been diligent in our efforts to uplift and encourage both sectors to become active and share life experiences and partner with us to motivate our youth to pursue higher education. We represent men and women bound women bound together in thought and deed toward the common purpose of self-improvement and rendering assistance wherever needed. We believe in service to one another; our youth, our families and our community. We believe that these attributes are possible through Service; …. We Serve, We Advance, We Grow.
